Privacy Policy

Zone6 ("Zone6," "we," "us") is an AI-powered training coach, available as an iOS app and at zone6ai.vercel.app, operated by Abir Hadar, based in Tel Aviv, Israel. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create a Zone6 account, we collect the email address tied to your Sign in with Apple or one-time email link, the name you choose to enter, and the optional profile details you provide during setup (birth year, gender, weight, maximum heart rate, threshold pace). Zone6 has no password to store — there isn't one.

Claude connector. If you connect Zone6 to your own Claude account, Claude reads and changes your Zone6 plan and calendar through your private connector address, only when you ask it to. What you share inside Claude is governed by your own agreement with Anthropic. Zone6 does not connect to Apple Health or any other health service.

Coaching and training data. Your stated goal and target date, your training plan, your calendar of sessions, your chat messages with your coach, any photos or files you attach in chat, the notes or documents you upload in "Feed the coach", and any feedback you leave on a session are stored so Zone6 can build and adjust your plan.

Subscription information. If you subscribe to Zone6 Pro, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple and RevenueCat, our subscription management provider — we never see or store your payment card details.

Feedback and contact messages. If you send feedback from inside the app, or a message through the contact form on this website, we store the message text along with the email address you provide, so we can read and respond.

Website analytics. zone6ai.vercel.app records anonymous usage events — pages viewed, buttons clicked, time on site — tied to a random session identifier generated in your browser, not to your identity. We don't use this to track you across other websites, and we don't sell it.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To put your training plan on your calendar and adjust it based on your goal, your training history, and what you tell your coach.
  • To give your coach's chat replies the context needed to answer specifically about your training, not generically.
  • To process and respond to feedback and contact messages.
  • To understand which parts of the website work well, so we can improve it.
  • To communicate with you about your account, such as a sign-in link email.

We do not use your data to serve ads, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

3. Who We Share It With

Zone6 shares data with the following service providers, only as needed to run the app:

  • Apple — for Sign in with Apple and App Store subscription processing.
  • Supabase — our database and backend provider, which stores your account, training, and chat data behind row-level security rules restricting access to your own signed-in session.
  • Anthropic — the maker of Claude, the AI model that generates your coach's replies and plans. See section 4 for exactly what is sent.
  • RevenueCat — to verify and manage your subscription status.
  • Vercel — which hosts this website.

We do not sell personal information, and we don't share it with data brokers or advertisers.

4. AI Processing by Anthropic

Zone6 has no human coach. Every training plan and every chat reply is generated by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, PBC (San Francisco, USA), through Anthropic's API. Anthropic is the only AI provider Zone6 uses.

What is sent. To generate a plan or a reply, the app sends Anthropic: your goal and target date; your name; your profile details (birth year, gender, weight, maximum heart rate, threshold pace); your recent chat messages; any photo or file you attach in chat; and the text of notes or documents you uploaded in "Feed the coach". Your email address and subscription status are not sent.

Your permission. Nothing is sent to Anthropic until you accept the AI-processing consent on the sign-up screen, which states what is shared and with whom. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your account from Settings, which also deletes the data we hold.

How Anthropic treats it. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train Anthropic's models, and Anthropic retains API inputs and outputs only for a limited period for abuse and safety monitoring. Anthropic processes the data in the United States and is bound by data-processing terms that provide protection equivalent to this policy. See Anthropic's commercial terms and privacy policy.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your Zone6 account at any time from Settings inside the app. Deleting your account permanently deletes your goals, training plan, session history and chat history from our database — enforced at the database level, not just a policy. Contact form and feedback messages tied to a deleted account are kept only long enough to resolve any open request, then deleted.

6. Your Choices

  • Disconnect Zone6 from Claude any time in Claude's Settings → Connectors.
  • Delete your account and all associated data any time from the app's Settings screen.
  • Turn off notifications in iOS Settings if you no longer want to hear from your coach.

7. Children's Privacy

Zone6 is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Anthropic, Vercel) may process data outside your home country, including in the United States and the European Union. We rely on our providers' own safeguards for these transfers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Zone6 changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
